    How much European / EU solidarity is on display right now? The Italians are facing their worst peacetime crisis, but Angela Merkel has decreed that Germany’s supply of medical protective equipment is not for export.

    Her government stopped shipments of masks to Austria and Hungary (not forgetting neutral Switzerland).

    So much for the sanctity of the single market....

    I just heard on the news that up to 20.000 people in Wales are expected to die during this pandemic. Honestly how ****ing brain dead are some of our so called betters , as a grandparent I can't imagine what's going through kids heads when they have to listen to **** like that , predicted deaths, ffs if it happens then deal with it but to forecast it what are they thinking <devil>

    Incredible - the First Minister standing behind like a scruffy hanger-on, and the ambitious ‘FM-in waiting’ attempting to come across as knowledgeable and Statesman-like .....

    I also heard that on the Welsh I.T.V. News, and I think it disgusting and totally irresponsible thing to say.
    So in my age group, with underlying problems have nothing to look forward to except death. .... and they tell us to stay in and not go out and mix. A few weeks ago I was in Hospital with a serious chest infection . I am now at home, but have not been out at all, due to the weather, and still being on antibiotics. Now I am told not to go out and not to mix. I might as well go in to hibernation . .... Now they are trying to cheer us up by telling us that up to 20 thousand of us could die. Bloody disgusting thing to say on T. V.. I have only heard this o Welsh I.T.V. ......... Now thousands of older Welsh people can go to bed tonight, and have "sweet Dreams".

    Victor - my wife was in hospital for 4 days with a severe asthma attack and was also treated to prevent pneumonia - she was worried enough already, and then that stupid scaremongering by Gething .....
