There seems to be a problem with his hamstrings. They need to get to the bottom of the problem. I feel really sorry for him, but you can't carry any one player.
These doctors from the UAE (or somewhere) that ESI are bringing in will presumably have a look at Page. Didn't I read he was training again, close to a return? Or has there been another set-back.
You are being very censorious today I am guessing that you have “sacked Mod syndrome” ? ...forget any attempts at a coup however ...I am very popular with the rank & file
I didn't think U23 meant "Under 23 minutes" How unlucky can one player be? Thanks for the pointer AHLL most helpful as always.
I assume I have your backing in the coup ….. I have a long list of names supporting me compiled by my dear friend and colleague @Beware of the Virus
He's out of contract at the end of the season and as Dick rightly says you can't afford to carry players. If he can get fit and the club wishes to offer him a new deal then fine but if not good luck elsewhere
At least Page appears for a few minutes now and then, whereas Cory Gibbs disappeared without trace. Martin Christensen never played for us. Omar Pouso and Joe Ledley both managed 45 minutes.
I feel sorry for the guy today. You can tell from his Tweet that he’s feeling it. His body keeps letting him down.
I've heard of watertight contracts but that's going a bit far. In for a penny, in for a pound I guess - we might as well carry on trying to get him fit for the rest of this season (only about 100 days now). But if Page doesn't get fit enough to play at least four or five games in April / May without breaking down, then we'll have to cut him loose. Don't really want to hear news about him being back in training during the summer, raring to go in pre-season etc. etc. then no show in August.
I suspect that this is what really happened to Cory Gibbs, although there has been a couple of reported sightings of him shopping in Tesco.
