He's fixed your Limerick into a non Limerick and one that doesn't even finish properly.

Pouchy's no fan of this current pandemic,

Ponytail almost had it in saying that it now “didn’t even finish”. Do I need to go on as I do believe the jokes you have to explain are genuinely the funniest ones.

Who’s attempts at limericks were a bit of a disaster.
When his friends helped him out
He started to pout
But hopefully he grasps the concept a bit faster
