He got a yellow for a blatant pull back on a Lincoln player, then wiped out another one scything through the back of him, for which he should have got a second yellow and red, so NA took him off sharpish before the ref did. Lively lad when he’s on the pitch is young Chuks. Talking of refs, I thought the 4th official who came on for the injured ref did really well. Let a couple of good advantages go and then used common sense talking to Chuks and Watson instead of sending Chuks off. Think he would have had to have gone with one more foul though.
To be honest I thought that Chuks second offense was as daft as they come - one minute after you get a yellow card, and you do that? Doesn't he fancy Hull on sunday, or does he want to give Schwarz a run out? Either way, right decision to sub him, although there nearly wasn't time to get him off.
It's not the first time he's got too reckless after getting a yellow. At least Pratley who replaced him wouldn't do that
Just seen the replay of Lincolns goal. Definitely (see, I can't be 'H' ) offside. Wonder if that will make a difference on Sunday. If we draw, Pompey lose by just 1 goal and Oxford lose, it means we would miss out on 6th place because of that error. Fine margins or what ?
