gioblues - I heard about the 'temporary' ticket office on Friday afternoon -- it seems that either there has been an outbreak of 'common sense', or the electronic system has gone into 'hoofball' mode !
I have been able to use the electronic system to buy extra tickets for today. I have the codes stored on my phone - and have transferred the codes to the phones of my sons - but - not everyone has the correct technology to do so... It surely makes sense to have a ticket office available on match day ?..................although judging by the many thousands of available seats, there might be a long queue ! ( will the crowd be much above 4500 ? )

........ You never know - GFC might do something radical next - like having a shop open before a home game - where you can see, feel, try on for size before you buy ! (((( Seriously - who wouldn't do so ?? - especially with rubbish ''body size' understanding of the current manufacturer. )))

Yes ridiculous that they plan not to have office or shop on match days minimum. Thought I did here they were doing a pop up shop on match days. Not sure if happening or how it would work.

Get to the ground it's cashless
Get to the pub and it's cash only

    It tickled my humour anyway.

We conceded our first goal in the 3rd minute against Hull last season.

Survived until the 4th minute without conceding today.

At that rate we might open with a clean sheet sometime early next century....

I think one of my most memorable opening day performances was against Sheffield United, under the late Justin Edinburgh...

Today I believe we had the slight edge on Lincoln, despite the early moral destroyer, I saw promise in the team, which I couldn't really say at the beginning of last season, when we didn't come to life until January.

Names to watch for me, Danny Lloyd and the keeper Cumming. Nice refreshing change to see a keeper that is comfortable actually catching a ball, a rarely seen feat these days. He had made a good save, sadly the defence at clearing was not so good on that ocassion.

Think Philips was most impressive. As long as doesn't lose his head could make it in the big time
