If victory is gained today by the mighty Hull city and promotion is assured Lincoln have agreed to allow celebrations on the pitch at full time... Boom !!!

He was along them for a long time. Must have been on them then. Another Brid lad, John, a big Leeds fan a lot younger than him was on at the same time as him for a while. Think he was in the kitchens.

Meanwhile in the Covid Variant capital Gooners fans decided to protest on mass outside the Stadium many with little regards for their own safety let alone the countless others who live with them at home.

    Give it two weeks...

That extremely thinly sliced rare beef was still nice even later on. Got a liking for that in Holland on holiday with my parents in 1964. Cost my dad a fortune having a load of that in a sandwich every time we went in a bar. Something 14 year olds could do in Holland then, unlike here. In fact a 14 year old could have a drink in a bar at 14 with their parents. Same in Belgium. In Belgium youncould, and still can, go in bars and buy beer and wine at 16. Which probably explains their better drinking culture. Unfortunately my dad never went along with the when in Rome... approach when a waiter explained why they kept asking if he wanted a beer for me as well.

Yeah it's a different mindset when it comes to drinking in those countries .
I worked in Netherlands and they used to ask why we felt the need to gulp down beer like theres no tommorrow .
    Couldnt answer really .
Maybe the last orders mentality and bravado with mates .

    My thoughts exactly.
What a potentially great day we are missing out on today. Can you imagine how many City fans would have been in Lincoln today ?
I've followed City all over the country but Lincoln is one place that I have never seen us play. Every time this fixture comes up I've been somewhere else and this year is no different. I do know we don't win there very often so hopefully today will be the exception. UTT!

I think we might draw today, but be promoted on Tuesday when Lincoln play Peterborough.

I'd def take out Slater and bring back Burke, I feel like he struggled a little for the first time last week against Sunderland. Want the strongest heads on the pitch for this one.

What a day it would have been for running the Lincoln gimps around their town then seeing a glorious promotion victory in Sincil **** in time honoured City fashion of a 0-1 away with one of our own KLP scoring it as done by Skipper and Windass and not quite our own but all time legend Ashbee, oh my days the scenes of carnage. WIN CITY!
