The joint top of the table clash we've all been waiting for (dreading). The horrible nail biter we're all glad to see the back of is coming to ruin your Sunday. This would be my personal preferred team but it's still remarkable how many options we now actually have. Well done to the manager in that recruitment process. ---------------------De Gea----------------------- AWB---------Bailly---------Maguire------Shaw --------------McTominay--------Fred----------------- Fernandes------------Pogba---------Rashford ----------------------Cavani I actually think we'll sneak this by the odd goal. That now probably being the ultimate jinx and we'll lose 3-0 or something. Enjoy.
In any line up I'm drawn to Pogba. That there is the key. I'm not saying the game will be won by him, but it could be lost because of him. Really depends which Pogba turns up. If ever we needed some consistency from him it's now, after his excellent performance against Butnley.
I would prefer Fernandes in the middle for this game and Rashford on the left. I just feel that both have more influence on the game playing in those positions, particularly Fernandes. I could even see Ole going for 4 - 4 - 2 in this one
i can’t see OGS going 4-4-2 against the RS in their backyard. I think he will use the players as above with Fernandes as a 10 and Rashford on the right. BTW Fernandes gets the premiership POTM yet again. I hope that’s not the kiss of death.
We'll definitely get one and then the ref will just give them one to level it up because it's Liverpool and it wouldn't be fair otherwise. Their best defender is injured by the way, not sure if anyone has heard that anywhere?
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Henderson, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Shaqiri, Salah, Mane, Firmino
I had heard a rumour on Friday that Cavani wouldn't start because Ole wanted pace up front and would go with Martial. I didn't believe it but obv that's what they've done. Big mistake imo. That livpl defence will be breathing a sigh of relief. Fck up by Ole. Lindelof over an in form Bailly ffs. I'm out.
I don't get why Bailly would be dropped either. Far more pace and that sits a lot better alongside Maguire. We've now got two slow centre halves.
