not nice to see needs saying .. he's got this sun shines out his arse persona , but I fear hes an ernie mcraken
Yeah I noticed that too after their first goal. I do quite like the bloke but his constant ****ing badge kissing is a bit cringe now like. He’s already admitted he’s likely to be off at the end of his current contract, which basically means offer me silly money and I’ll stay, which he most likely will of course.
you lads seemed to take this game seriously. This team is worth £700 Mil and they've got serious chemistry. This ain't Spurs or Man Utd, you go up against Liverpool and pray for a draw in my opinion. They make good top 10 sides look like relegation fodder weekly.
Exactly, any time Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City or Arsenal score 5 against any of the rest of the league, realistically they are a massive disappointment. Considering how much Liverpool have spent in the last 5 years compared to how much we have spent, if they don't score 10 goals then we've won
Im enjoying the season so far... i honestly give us a chance of beating brighton and leicester ... if we do that we will be in a fantastic position ... tbh even 3 or 4 points will do but i think we can get all 6 i really do .
I have yet to see us perform at home in a way in which I can confidently say we will beat brighton. We dont know how to take the game to the opponent at home. This is why we are best suited to playing away from home.
Tbf the atmosphere at home has looked so poor I am sure it has had a negative impact on performances. They're drowning in pressure at St James', we give absolutely no quarter.
For once it would be nice to score first and for that to do something other than spur the opposition into life and force our backs against the wall. Maybe we should start every game 1-0 down!
So, not the hiding it might have been and a winnable game next week. I think time to ring some changes. For me Bruce needs to find alternatives for Atsu and Almiron despite the obvious choices currently being injured. I never understood the purchase of Astu. I don't think he even started a league game whilst on loan at Bournemouth, one of about six clubs he was out on loan to before coming here. However, even he currently offers far more than Almiron. Almiron, watching from the bench to learn and 20 minutes or so at the end of games, might help turn talent into performance.
Indeed it might have been, but Liverpool will be tearing teams apart all season. For me there were 5 people on the pitch who will struggle to get a game once all the injuries are cleared up.
