Look, my opinion was the players weren't giving their all for the team. So I decided to leave. I don't make a habit of it but I felt they didn't deserve my support any longer. And I'd rather leave than start booing and shouting at the players.
This game shows the difference between top sides and relegation avoiders. Saints usually end the first half of games in the situation where they should have scored 3 or 4. Liverpool end the first half actually having scored 3 or 4. Different degree of quality. Totally wrong gamble failed.
ive tried not to comment but what a shambles & you’re absolutely right. After all the posturing about how risky Tella is, he’s now putting him out. I suppose Ralph really does like a 9-0
Agree, and a few on here had already ‘written off’ this as a free hit. Just have to accept it as a Saints fan. And from what I’ve seen I don’t think it’s about a lack of effort on the players’ or Ralph’s behalf. We aren’t a top team.
Last week Liverpool put 4 past Arsenal in 5th. Saints aren’t any worse, so far. Liverpool are a real machine when they get going at home.
Liverpool are very very good and we are average on a good day. No surprise and not going to lose my **** over it. He gambled, he lost. If you don't take the odd chance in life you do stand still. Could have been genius, rather than shambles (almost scored in 17 seconds). Fine lines. Big gaps. Over and out
Agree. Usual line up and we probably lose 2-0 or so. Try something else and we might sneak something or we might lose out badly. Okay we lost badly this time but I don’t mind that we tried something different.
I think the players didn't know what the hell they were supposed to be doing with this ridiculous formation that ralph dreamt up This is solely down to Ralph's ineptitude not the players Loosing it with Ralph now
And unlike Saints, because of so many factors, wealth, history, they can hold on to great players (VVD, Mane)
