I was thinking about your question as to other strikers in the league. There's only Norwich and Brighton that I wouldn't take and 100% start a forward player from. Therein lies the issue.
Yeah, and if Trossard keeps playing as well as he has for Brighton (I'm less convinced by Maupay), they'll fall off that list in fairly short order.
Id have Trossard over any of our 2 behind options Pukki is probably the same as our strikers God we’re mint
Not trying to twist the knife (I'm sitting at work, waiting for a phone call back, so I had a couple minutes to kill) but I tried to figure out what a complete roster of attacking players (so 3x strikers, 5x attacking mids/wingers) selected from all of the truly unfashionable clubs* would look like, and came up with: Strikers - Toney (Brentford), Dennis (Watford), Wilson (Newcastle). Attacking mids/wingers - Sarr (Watford), Zaha (Palace), Raphinha (Leeds), Saint-Maximin (Newcastle), Gallagher (Palace). One can do some quibbling about whether Josh King or Troussard are better than any of the above, and whether Willock is an attacking mid and deserves mention, etc...but I don't think that there's even a remote case for any of our attackers being in the Good Players on Bad Teams Supersquad. *us, Brighton, Palace, Brentford, Watford, Leeds, Burnley, Norwich, Newcastle. The teams that don't win anything and don't have #warchests.
