Stoke are usually a tough nut to crack, with their brand of Football/wrestling. It remains to be seen if this changes under the Management of Mark Hughes (I wont hold my breath)

Agger is a small doubt for the game but is expected to start. And Sturridge should start after impressing in a 2nd half cameo Vs Celtic.

Anyway it is great to have competitive football back, and here's hoping we can push on this season. And fight for a top 4 place.

I'm not sure if Sturridge will start. It depends on his fitness.

I can see a front three of Stering Aspas and Coutinho starting.

Sturridge wouldn't be able to play 90 mins so I think having him on the bench would be beneficial if we haven't broken the deadlock on 60

I think we will move forward, but just miss out on top 4. 5TH OR 6TH I think is where we will finish, unless we can bring in two more players to into the first 11

sturridge in? i don't know. he looked sharp but it was only 45mins v kids. We'll see other wise the 10 names in the thread starter look to me like sure fire picks.

I have predicted 6th for this season SJD. think i'll stand by that one o nthe gorund of everton dropped back but arsenal still being decent. My top 4 in order are City to win, chelsea second, utd third, tottenham 4th and arsenal to signal the end of their run in 5th. Relegation = the usual candidates and i'd put stoke in there firmly. Stoke, fulham, cardiff, crystal palace

 

I agree with that top 4. As things stand think we can pip Arsenal for 5th, depends on any comings or goings before the season starts.
The relegation battle is going to be tight this year, wouldn't like to try and guess that!
