We didn’t give them permission to play him for some unknown reason. It’s fuelled speculation of a recall but Cowley seems to have rubbished that as we’ll apparently let him play in the next round… very odd from us.

 

Could be a prep for a "nightmare scenario" recall
(Kane gets injured, Parrott is already injured etc) .
In which case I would expect to see him not play
again on loan until the Leeds game is done.
