I hope them meteors are self isolating or if they are coming from a danger area are staying at the Hilton in quarantine
best to check the under kegs aren't green first, before committing and deffo no thongs, as rubbing between the two bowling ball holes could put you off your cheesy chips..
The Third Wave due from Europe in 2 weeks... https://metro.co.uk/2021/03/20/covi...wave-will-spread-to-uk-within-weeks-14275874/ Summer holidays in doubt.
Shouldn’t hit us this time. I love getting abroad, absolutely live for it in fact, but I’ll gladly take advantage of the stunning lakes or Bonny Scotland until all clear. We must manage the borders and look after ourselves this time.
Agree, but with 36 arrests in London last night there's a bumpy road ahead https://metro.co.uk/2021/03/20/london-anti-lockdown-protesters-clash-with-police-14277318/
We're doing The Lake District this year for the first time in our lives. Staying at the Windermere Hotel and bringing the pooches with us too. Really looking forward to a change of scenery and avoiding the masses that descend on Bournemouth every summer.
We have rented a house in Norfolk beside a beach will be taking g'kids..let's hope it comes off. The annual Scottish golfing trip this year is not on. Senior management and I have also stayed at the Crieff Hydro with g'kids. That was good, free childcare ( part of the fee) for a couple of hours, morning and afternoon!
We go to Derwent Hill near Keswick for an adventure week of activities every year and love the place. Gutted that it was cancelled last year but booked up for first week in August this year.
I adore the lakes mate try and go twice a year you will love it. Britain is beautiful, no value in any of us risking it, the world will be there next year.
Not sure Windermere will be good for avoiding the masses like. Its heaving in the summer at the best of times, this year will be rammed.
Loads of people arrive and don’t have a clue that Windermere is nowhere near the lake.My wife was a tourist advisor and one asked her if she could get the ferry from Windermere straight to Coniston
We generally have one or two short breaks a year in the lakes, but last year, just before the first lockdown, we discovered Grasmere. We've driven past it countless times but never into the village. It is stunning, hopefully we will get back later this year.
