The UK has around twice that figure and rising.

UK population is around 70 million.

German population is around 80 million.

Whatever the case, Germany is doing better, by a distance.

I appreciate that, but 3 weeks ago the press where screaming to shut the schools and lockdown and now they are screaming when we are opening up.

The government have been far from perfect but the press have been an absolute disgrace in all this

Germany closed all its borders last year, they are still closed On December 9th 2020, 1,244 deaths in 1 day and the deaths still continue, did you watch the riots in the Netherlands the elite have been vaccinated but not the working man, they don't get covid relief money so much as in England The old people who catch it are dying like flies

 

The press don't run the country though mate, the government wanted that responsibility.

The government, as far as schools and universities are concerned, have been a shambles.

The press haven't made the decisions, only commented on them.

yes mate that's overall but the deaths are spiralling in the last 5 weeks 1.244 deaths in 1 day in December was a high, the German government have been hiding the truth, when the body's started stacking up and people noticing, grieving family's demanding answers, the government have just started coming clean, a lot of the Deaths were not being put down as covid as the hospitals did not have enough test kits, MSM in Germany tend to tell the truth when they find out

Regardless of apportioning blame, the UK has been and continues to be hit much harder than most other countries including Germany

 

Just found out from a friend that one of my old mates from schooldays and beyond is in hospital and on a ventilator. Mid 50's Non smoker. No underlying health conditions.

 

Mate i don't doubt it its a terrible thing i put that up to show that its not just the English suffering, but Europe as well and its getting worse, i was hoping to move back to the UK but this has put my plans way back. theses mask less idiots are ruining it. boarders closed people who i really feel sorry for are the infected and people who have lost jobs because of it, don't know how they will cope now especially when the bailiffs are knocking for payment.

 

I truly wish that wasn't the case, the vast majority of my friends and family are there.

But, for whatever reason, the UK has suffered more despite our obvious advantages.

It's becoming worse in the UK and the government seem to only believe their own rhetoric.

My 64 yr old very overwight cousin who has smoked all her life and never exercised just had it and all they had was a bit of a cough.

 

It's frightening, the severity of the symptoms appear random in victims who are not vulnerable.

Here's hoping for a full recovery.
