As much as it pains me to admit the fact, Leeds accomplished things, in those day and since, that neither Hull or Sunderland will ever match. They may be 'down among the dead men' but they had a glory that none of us will ever experience.
Please point me to a post by one single Sunderland supporter on this board claiming we are either "footballing giants" or "a massive club"? I doubt you can. Maybe some claiming we're a bigger club than Hull, but that's a matter of fact
Hull supporters love to claim their 'local derby' is Leeds whereas, in reality, Leeds supporters don't actually give a **** about Hull. Scunthorpe, or maybe Grimsby, is Hull's real derby but they don't want to admit that because it tells you where they've been for much of their history. p.s. there are no tigers on North Humberside although there are obviously quite a few subhumans who've learned to type.
Can someone help me and translate this childish ****? I have tried to decipher it three times and failed miserably. Was he saying that lowly Sunderland beat the best footballing team of that time?
It's not even called Hull to be correct. Hull is the river it sits on, although the main tributary is actually a drain. So the name 'Hull City' doesn't make any sense, much like the dimwit who keeps posting on here. The place was originally called Wyke .......... which is what this idiot gets on
Anyway. No win this weekend and its arrividerci for you guys.I expect your fans in the Champ will be immense
If it happens, they will be, just like they always are, even when dropping down to the 3rd division they were immense. I'm guessing that you are slightly jealous.
And that's why they're making the most of their brief moment in the sun, they know it won't last. They just don't have enough good players to keep up the momentum and will start struggling after they lose at Southampton.
It's sometimes quite funny browsing through these old threads when our lass is watching Dancing on Mice or whatever it's called
