    Competition - Sky Bet Championship
    Venue - Kenilworth Road
    Date - 4 March 2023
    Kick off - 3:00pm

Following yet another disappointing result (1-1 draw) and performance against Rotherham at home, next up for Russell Martin’s faltering Swans is a tough looking away trip to Play-Off hopefuls Luton.

On Monday evening, Chiedozie Ogbene earned Rotherham United a precious point in their bid to stay in the Championship as the Swans' poor form continued.

Joel Piroe's precise finish put Swansea on course for what would have been a welcome win.

But long-time Swansea transfer target Ogbene prodded home to ensure Rotherham deservedly took something from a nervy contest.

The draw means the Millers move six points clear of the bottom three.

Swansea stay 15th after what ultimately was another disappointing evening for Russell Martin's team, who have won only three of their last 20 matches (including 18 league games) after having looked like genuine play-off contenders in the autumn, and were booed off by some sections of a tense home crowd.

On Tuesday evening, Luke Berry scored a late equaliser for Luton to deny Millwall a victory at Kenilworth Road.

The Lions were seemingly heading towards a win, having led 2-0 thanks to individual moments of farce and controversy.

They were gifted an early goal when Luton goalkeeper Ethan Horvath spilled a Zian Flemming shot into his own net, before Tom Bradshaw scored Millwall's second, despite team-mate George Honeyman appearing to be in an offside position before delivering the assist.

But the hosts were determined not to be on the end of a hard-luck story.

They pulled one back through Elijah Adebayo just before the hour, with Berry scoring a dramatic long-range low effort to not only level the scores, but ensure a fifth successive Kenilworth Road draw between the two play-off rivals.

The result leaves the Hatters in 6th spot, 2 pts ahead of Norwich.

The Swans have played Luton on 57 previous occasions, winning 21, losing 24 and drawing 12.

In the corresponding fixture last season, the Swans fought back from 0-3 down at HT to secure an unlikely point in a 3-3 thanks to goals from Paterson, Ntcham and Piroe:

Turning to Saturday, I can see nothing other than a 3-0 defeat for the Swans.

    Hope I’m wrong <cheers>

Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle when Swansea City visit Luton Town on Saturday in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Northamptonshire official will take charge of a Swans fixture for the first time this season, having last overseen the victory at West Brom last term.

Whitestone has no shortage of experience, and has been refereeing for long enough to have had the whistle for a Swansea game during the club’s previous stint in the Championship.

So far this term he has taken charge of 25 games, the majority of which have been in the second tier, handing out 77 yellow cards and two reds.

Whitestone will be assisted by Daniel Leach and Rob Smith, while David Rock is the fourth official.

You often win when you least expect it. Luton 1 Swansea 2.

Sorry, it was a dream. Luton 2 Swansea 0 is the correct result.

Thanks Taff. I am still recovering from Monday!
It's hard to see anything other than a Luton win, so I will be pleased to see an improved display with more effort and confidence which is at a really low point. We showed on Monday we have the ability to score if we put our passing together. So I am going for a 2-1 defeat but would be incredibly happy if we escaped with a point.

2 - 1 the home side. Very hard to see us picking up too many more points, our form is so poor. I'm totally baffled by RM's continued faith in his defensive coaching.
