So McCann just denied we have Harletun on trial. Must've been joking, there's a pic of him in a City kit in the paper. Guess we actually want him then, otherwise that would have been quite an embarrassing lie.
We started crap last season. Daggers were starting to come out for McCann last week. Smiles back on faces tonight..fair few need it.
Great result by the team. The clean sheet will be a real lift against a team that was scoring plenty. The only real concern seems to be Eaves who desperately needs a goal. At least there will be a bit of lifting of the pressure. A good away win and a clean sheet gets a nice couple of monkeys off your back.
I'm doing this from memory but that's the first clean sheet we've kept since you could get a bag of chips, a mars bar and four blackjacks for two bob.
Ooh err, Is that wishful thinking, or your plans for tonight Dr S? Anyway, back to the game, no matter a poor game, 3 points all that matters, a clean sheet, and a good journey back for the long suffering City away support. Safe journey back to all. Oh, and at last a goal for Kev S, he sooo deserved it, long overdue!
A romp, involving any posters off here HT, would inevitably elicit a cacophony of moans and groans about aching bones and no longer erogenous zones. It might sound like they were having fun, but ultimately, like City's chances of promotion this season, it would be a sad, mournful and somewhat pathetic non-event which fizzles out like a damp firecracker, spurting unimpressibly like a watery dribble onto a parched desert. Tell me, am I overdoing the similes here?
