Looks like they're starting to distance themselves. Mind you I would need to be paid a damn sight more than £12 to take it off their hands! <laugh>

The Geordie "Nayshun" (or caliphate as it is now known) extends to Hartlepool now does it? And they have the nerve to call us "Mackems"

    Newcastle United LGBTQ+

What a sad little hypocrite this self-elected creep is.

It's all very well jumping on a nice comfy bandwagon when you don't have that much to fight against ...

... but the statement these people put out, welcoming the Saudis, was shameful.

Newcastle United LGBTQ+ are nothing more than collaborators in denial.

"We all knew there was going to be a lot of spotlight and interest on our views from a human rights perspective," Pearson-Brown says.

"But the narrative has been hijacked by some people who believe that we, as football fans, should be doing something about the human rights issues in Saudi Arabia because our owner is from that country and has taken a role in running it."

So in other words, it’s ok for gays over there to be persecuted but not over here.

It's not as if it's casual abuse or discrimination ...

... persecution and punishment of homosexuals is enshrined in law and celebrated.

For Newcastle United LGBTQ+ to roll out the welcome mat is shameful.

The guy has just dug his group a bigger hole. He basically says they may start protesting when they feel that their club is being used as 'a puppet by some regime.' So basically when the club and supporters start to suffer then they will get their multi coloured flags out? So, football, expensive players, entertainment and trophies first, gay rights last?
There are many organisations who would like me dead. IS for example, due to my western infidel ways. If they decided to buy Sunderland? 'Oh well, as long as we win trophies I am willing to turn a blind eye, but by jove if they start taking money out of the club and bleeding us dry I'll be straight outside the stadium on matchday with my soapbox and mega phone and pointing out the error of their murderous ways!'
I've said it before, I can sympathise with supporters who are wrestling with their conscience, even those who are reveling in their new owners and making idiots of themselves. Football can make idiots of us all to some extent and blind us of the more important things in life. But this LGBT group should be totally ashamed of themselves. For it to still exist is even more shameful.

It's also sickening for them to trot out the inevitable 'the attacks on us are affecting our mental health' routine.

FFS not being taken over was supposed to be the cause, now it's something else ...

... I can remember the days when NE blokes weren't so terribly fragile <doh>

"The Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), fresh off a controversial takeover of Newcastle United in the Premier League, has set its sights on Serie A as well, according to Alfredo Pedullà. While Inter Milan and AC Milan were the top choices, the Zhang family and Elliott Investments, respectively, declined to discuss the matter further, leading the $500 billion financial institution to turn its attention to little ol’ Fiorentina."

But dont forget its completely shameful over here that some are on zero contracts & worth of persistent protest.

I wonder what contract terms the Saudi's offer staff....its clearly more important than major human rights issues...or doesnt it matter because its not over here.

Hmmmm I wonder if the same LGBT group would think the same if another club was taken over by murders etc etc

    Very good point mate.

If these groups have anything about them, at all, they'll be calling out the hypocrites who claim to represent Newcastle minorities.

They've actually made a point of welcoming the Saudis, absolutely shameful.
