Nigel Pearson has been under great pressure, at the beginning of the season he did not realise the task ahead.
With no money , great uncertainty of the existence of the club he took one hell of a gamble taking the Managers job.
He can only be admired, and respected for his achievements, with a team to be very proud of.
What annoys me after all the sh1te he has taken and the great pressures how the Hell Did He Keep His Hair.
Well done Nigel you deserve the applause.:emoticon-0100-smile

Yes, it must be one hell of a risk taking a job where your employer expects mediocrity.

Hey, if people are going to sing his praises all the time then I don't see why I can't add my viewpoint.

For the record I think he's an average manager, how he keeps his head with the chairman though is beyond me. "Got any decent players Nige? Ipswich need a favour."

I don't blame either, just your carers for letting you use the internet after 7.

Who wouldn't sing the praises of a manager who'd just come into a team that had to off load almost all of its first team players in the summer, had no money, could face liquidation and after a shaky start is now challenging for a play off place? And the fact you call him average and then arse rape brown (who I didn't hate) shows your being a twat. Oh I'm sorry but if getting rid of Bullard meant that much to you why don't you go support ipswich? Christ he is a good player but he wasn't performing that well and you could see his hearts not in it. Plus the fact he's on £45,000 a week doesn't help does it?

I'm a big Pearson fan. He came in when things were looking bleak, no money etc. Now look at the future, probably not promotion this year but next year will be very interesting. I feared the worst when he was admitted to hospital last autumn. What was the cause? Did we ever find out?

I'm hopping he stays to become our most successful manager ever.

Nigel's pulled it round, It was a bit shakey to start with but I think he's doing a good job, But I would just like to add that I don't buy all this stress business, These fella's are very well paid and at the end of the day if they **** things up and get sacked they still get their money. Stress is a bloke slogging his guts out week in week out in a ****ty job that makes him feel suicidal just to make ends meet, Then get's sacked gets a bit of redundancy and holiday pay and dole tell him to **** off and come back in 6 weeks.

Pearson always seems chilled to me, maybe that's why he can keep his flat-top looking immaculate.

The guy is everything I expect from a manager..

My expectations at the start of the season were mid-table, then the administration lark kicked in and I revised it to relegation fight.. what he's done (and Sir Adam) is truly remarkable..

Even if we don't make the top 6 but have a go trying he, the Allams and Sir Adam will deserve a standing ovation for turning HCAFC around..

Sums up EXACTLY how I feel. I also love the way he has no time for the local press muppets too, just gets on with the job hes paid to do and isnt in it for the attention.
