Splendid slating the **** in the photo with a ****ing half and half City v Chelsea scarf on Apologies if it’s any of you ****s
Yep, I've got mates who are Man U and Liverpool 'fans' and they're really dejected by Man City being so good. They obviously subconsciously think that their clubs deserve a permanent place at the top and for no upstarts to ever disrupt it. They think it's unfair that Man City have so much money but don't see the irony at all, that they've had the exact same advantage over everyone else for decades, and still do in fact.
Nice to see Man City get one over on RM, they certainly look like the best club side around at present. They must be strong favourites going into the final, though the Italians are notorious for spoiling the party.
I don’t fully understand FFP but my take on it is this. What you spend on transfer fees and wages directly correlates to your income. Clubs with world wide appeal, especially in Asia, I would say number around 7 or 8 and as such generate more by being global brands. How did they get to be global brands? They won domestic titles and European trophies years ago and some of them still win them. In all cases whilst being heavily bank rolled, smashing transfers records left, right and centre. They see it at the status quote, how it was and how it always shall be. They demand a closed shop and nobody else is invited. Hence the clamour, by some, for a European Super League. They don’t like upstarts like Manchester City muscling in on the action. Liverpool broke the World record for a keeper and a defender within months of one another, hardly gets mentioned. Man Utd regularly broke British and European transfer records under Fergie, hardly gets mentioned. I love the fact Man City are dominating the PL as, has already been stated, they don’t have bus loads of Irish and Scandinavian plastics or the likes of the ‘ Cockney Reds’ artificially packing out their stadiums every week. I’m also chuffed for my uncle Barry, a born and bred Manc, who has supported them through thick and thin.
If anyone missed the game last night and have BT or a special firestick, it's repeated at 3-45pm 'til 5-15pm today.
Out of interest I know Real Madrid have won it the most which country has had the most different winners? reckon it’s us? Man U Chelsea Forest Liverpool Villa Hopefully Man City next
Once questioned a Liverpool fan mate over the 75 mill signing of van Dyke. His reply what about what Man Utd spend.
I'm pretty certain it always is, on the BT Sport YouTube channel. It might even be a requirement of their rights to the competition in the UK.
