the game is on Sunday, 4pm kick-off, It'll be on sky sports premier league, It’ll also be the return of Wayne Rooney and Romelu Lukaku will face their former clubs as well,
Everton looked about as gash as it's possible to look last night. What the **** has happened to them? I thought the premier league pissed all over the rest of European leagues, bar each one's top two or three teams? (courtesy of various clueless pundits, on talk sport BBC or BT, take your pick) What a load of utter bollocks this has once more proven to be. If we don't win this our players should be put in the middle of the pitch and shot on the evidence of last night. We should win by two or three clear goals.
Everton have surprised me this season - expected them to be pushing around the European places with the players they've signed. Thought at first they might just have been starting slowly, but they look like they are in trouble now. Definitely agree we should piss this one, even without Pogba. But watch them pull one out of the bag against us now. Probably Rooney to score a couple just because. We do need to win though - City, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool all have easy games they will almost certainly win so we need to match them to keep the momentum up.
It is usually the 'easy wins' that produce an unwanted upset. I expect a reaction from Everton after that crap mid-week.
I hope not this week. They can respond next week especially after City's performance today. But I guess City is always great in the summer.
I think we will see a response from Everton today. Rooney will want to score. Do we think Rooney will be given a good reception? I hope he does. Will be embarrassing if he doesn't.
I know he will get a good reception. United fans are more sensible than most. He served us well and Jose has done a great job managing that transition. Fans will respond.
Not sure about Young at LB, should be ok against Everton though as they look a bit slow at the moment.
That, and the fact he didn't try and force a move beforehand, or throw a hissy fit when told he was no longer needed. He may have mishandled some of his contract negotiations in the past, but he was professional enough in being moved out of the side then out of the club. Herrera is going to be the next one to have his professionalism tested imo. Reckon he is on a path to leaving for a free in summer at this rate.
Another topic... I really don't know why we can't play Martial and Rashford together. I feel like they bring different qualities to the team.
Micky will share those naked photos of Mourinho with the press if he doesn't pick him in every game...
Everton set up well to stop us .. and hit us on weakness at flanks at counter with 2 AMs becoming wingers when they have the ball tough match as usual facing Everton
