Superb performance. As Pogba's biggest critic I have to eat humble pie and applaud his contribution today - 4 assists. High energy game, top performances all over the pitch, good solid tactics from the manager - not a single negative.


......and Varane too. **** me, it doesn't get any better than that.

I will join you in that humble pie. I don’t recollect him having a better impact on a game than he did today. Maybe he could help the situation by putting the contract talks to bed. PSG ain’t signing anyone on high wages anytime soon and I doubt that Real Madrid will take on high wages in the coming year either.

Sign the deal and focus on helping the team as we saw today.

As I said in my humble pie post - great to see such a huge performance - the thing is we need to see it week in, week out, not once every six games. Lets see .......

 

I don't disagree, but I think what I posted about Pogba was demonstrated today. Granted Sancho didn't play with Pogba but with Martial, Sancho, Bruno, Greenwood and then there's Rashford and Cavani as well, I can only see Pogba shining because he'll have the time and space they'll create for him. The same will be true for Martial. Although in Martial's case I hope he makes the most of it.

All that said, to be calling out a great performance and still have Varane, Sancho, Cavani, Rashford and Phil Jones still to feature - the future looks bright

Good overall performance, helped by our midfielders playing well. Leeds also helped with their weird tactics of man to man marking. Taylor made for a team like United. Other positive is Sancho and Varane coming into a winning team.

 

Conundrum - The better Pogba plays for us, the more suitors he will have.
