Utd were fairly.mean at the back last season.

I wonder how much ronaldo has shifted the dressing room just by his presence. I'd say he has zero respect for the manager and it flows through the rest.

I see a lot of half fit players like.maguire, fred, rashford playing and fully fit players like.matic and sancho sat watching as well.

Ronaldo probably picks the team and has his own little group he favours!

United years in the wilderness has just begun. How long it is going to last I honestly don't know.

A few of the Juve players have recently said they should have got rid of Ronaldo before this summer.

Seems he's not the dressing room influence ManU hoped he'd be (not to mention he probably bankrupts any club he plays for nowadays)

I do detect a wee bit of getting carried away with it on the lfc website.

We played ok. Not amazing, just a good level. Man utd were a shambles.

We need to continue to work hard and improve to compete with the oil dopers.

Don't want to be all negative, but I don't think we actually played that well.

Klopp said as much. Even better to win 5-0 at half pace. :bandit:

"There's room for improvement " is pretty much standard from Klopp and the players in interviews.

I don’t understand where this we didn’t play all that well comes from. Maybe we have different definitions of playing well but how can you score 4 goals in a half and claim we didn’t play ‘that well’

Yes United were poor, but we made them Look poor by playing well and tactically being better and taking advantage of their short comings.

We drew their players out to create space, which we then exploited with quick passing into feet and movement.

Goal one, pass into feet, pass into feet, flick round corner, first touch flick to Salah runs at player and lays it into Keita path.

Second one was a **** up from maguire and shaw but we had numbers forward to win the ball then delicious cross from TAA.

Thrid one was brilliant pass and move from Bobby leaving United players behind. Bit of luck with deflection and then nice cross.

4, lovely control and footwork from Bobby and Jota making runs off the ball from left wing into centre to make the pass.

thrn the 5th brilliant press from Hendo and Bobby to win it and brilliant pass.

then the last 40 minutes we just controlled the game and saw out the win preserving energy and trying not to get injured.

Other than Fernandes in first couple mins and the Ronaldo disallowed goal, don’t remember United creating any kind of chance.

It was probably as complete a performance from back to front that you’ll find

The best we've played was ac milan game. We absolutely pasted them.

    Utd were abject.

I'm not saying it was bad but we were not that hot, we just took advantage in a very competent way as we had all the time and options cos utd never shut off one option.
