McTominay might well have to play in the middle of a back three. Maguire out and Bailly also out, as if he's ever actually in.

Uber conservative line up tonight I suspect.

wan Bissaka McTominay, Tuanzebe as a back three. Shaw and Williams as wing backs. Pogba, Fernandez and Mata as a midfield three with Rashford as striker?

    We'll still lose.

If we sit back, it will be certain defeat. If we attack in a carefree fashion we will be thrashed by a cricket score. The idea is to keep it tight and defend with 10 players behind the ball. And occasionally counterattack at pace. Ole will probably go with 5 at the back and possibly play 2 defensive midfielders. We need to keep it tight for the first 30-40 minutes.

No one has any expectations of this match. A draw will be difficult but massive for our confidence. We’ve not lost an away match since the January game against the RS. Let’s keep the record going. OGS needs to be pragmatic and do what’s required to get a point.

A difficult away match where a disciplined and committed defensive attitude is needed against a formidable attacking line up.

I can't see Pogba being up for that. He'll probably be able to tell us how many blades of grass there are in a 1 metre radius though.

It'll be like playing with 10 men against PSG.

No one is expecting anything from that match. All things being equal we leave Paris without anything. In a way nothing to lose except our pride. 6-1 anyone?

Fred and McTominay for 60-70 minutes. If chasing a goal by then Pogba for the last 30 minutes.

A draw should be seen as a decent result given the makeshift defence and the reduced threat in attack without Greenwood - does anyone know exactly why he isn't playing? A second leg with something to play for should be a decent match, especially as we will be back at full strength and will have Cavani ready to prove a point or two.

    There's Donny as well.

I'd have Dalot on the bench as well. He's made for european football imo and had an absolute stormer the last time we played them.

Slight issue with that last bit, he went to Milan on loan!

Absolutely. Great idea to ostracise Smalling.

But at least Bailly, who had an absolute mare, isn't playing!

    Team Line Up:

DDG, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Shaw, Telles, Fred, McTominay, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial.

    Well well well...

So are we playing with a back 3, with Telles and Shaw as wingbacks?

I'd like to see Donny get some game time before Pogba - he has experience at this level. Ideally Ole should leave Pogba on the bench until the 89th minute - that might teach him to shut the **** up.

Solid and confident first half - just hoping we don't bring Pogba on in which case we'll lose 4 - 1

The ref is letting a lot go aint he? It's more premiere league standard than continental. A lot of PSG players crying because their diving aint getting a look in with the ref <laugh>
