For what it's worth, particularly if Benarek's red card isn't rescinded, I suspect we'll lose to Newcastle as well, so can we not have a meltdown when that happens please?
Tel was banned for being a wind up merchant, nothing more, nothing less. And your presence here suggesting any other motive is deeply offensive. Probably best if you ****ed off too.
I'm not actually that annoyed about the result. We've lost 9-0 before, we'll probably do it again some day. However, I am ****ing angry at VAR and ****e referees. It's taken a while to get here, but I'm at the point where I don't want to go back to games when we're allowed in again. I'm owed a good few hundred quid from my season ticket and next week when the club email fans to ask whether we want refunds or to keep it on account for next season, I'll be asking for it back. I was going to leave it with them, but while VAR is at the games, I won't be. I backed it for a long time, but changed my mind at Wolves when I didn't even flinch when we scored. It's only got worse since. @Libby, you were right and I'm well in the **** it off camp now. Dean can get in the bin with it, too. I don't celebrate our goals anymore, so what's the point? So when Saints ask me about that money I'm owed, I'll be having it back and won't be returning until VAR's gone. If enough fans do that and vote with their feet (across the country not just with Saints), clubs will feel the financial pressure to push for some sort of change. Why would fans want to return to an unenjoyable sport? Might not effect the big teams, but it would have a big impact on the rest, especially clubs like us who only have a certain amount of fans prepared to have a season ticket in the first place.
Mate of mine heard a rumour that we've got some potential covid-19 positive tests and are seeking a three week break. It's that desperate but humour is needed sometimes to break out of this stuff.
There are some here who are in a state of permanent meltdown unlike others, myself included, who are gazing at the sunlit uplands of the EPL. Last night just a stumble on the road.
