Big news is that De Gea starts. Another strong side, so hopefully a decent home win to settle the nerves before Leicester.
I thought Shaw was back... or so Ole had hinted. Not even on the bench. Williams is good though so nay bother. No disrespect to West Ham but that side should win this comfortably. Probably kiss of death that.
We need another playmaker or attacking midfielder (to cover Fernandes too much to rely on one man), a quality CB and hopefully Sancho on the RW.
In terms of certainty to qualify for CL without relying on others a draw was no worse than a 2-0 or 3-1 win. Yes it was embarrassing and bad for morale that we couldn’t beat a team on the edge of relegation at home. But the cold reality is that even if we had won by 3-1 we would still have needed to avoid defeat on Sunday. We still need to match Chelsea OR avoid defeat.
