I expect they'll judge him by where they are at the end of the season, long way till then. And if he's done well he'll likely be looking to see if there's another bigger opportunity available to him.
I think Hudd was dropped because of his defensive frailties. Clucas and N'Diaye provided more kilometres and more energy.
Silva did an immense job for us last year, yes it went tits up against Sunderland and Palace to **** us in the end, but to suggest he had anything other than the best intentions is mad. Under Marco we arguably played better football than we ever have done before at the top level, and were it not for Pickford having his best match of the season against us I reckon things would have been different......anyways, I wish him all the best and hope he kicks ass at Watford
I remember Huddleston being in most peoples votes for MOTM up until that red card, I too was puzzled as to why Silva dropped him after that. I don't think he'd have kept us up, but we were certainly a better side with him in it, especially when played further up the field.
Like you said though it was his red card so he wasn't exactly dropped. We were playing well without him and other midfielders had stepped up. Clucas in particular had a storming end to the season.
I liked N'Diaye when he first came in but his last few games he turned into a bit of a passenger and was a bit rubbish. Probably why he's ended up at Wolves this season. Clucas was great in the defensive midfield position though.
Huddlestone was fantastic defending. You look back at how many times he cut out crosses. Evandro must have needed one more game for a bonus if he played against Palace.
