Who said he wasn't?? The way he's got that richarlison to dive is top top coaching, suited to the PL. no doubt.
He got it wrong towards the end with us but initially he was good and I think you could see he had potential to do a decent job
Must admit I hoped he would. I just wonder what went on with us in those last few games. Lost his mojo somehow.
It just reinforces the theory that you need a good settled backroom staff and coaching set-up to succeed. Hopefully our addition of Oleg will give Len someone to bounce ideas and tactics off.
Him and his team got used to the PL with us. He was never going to fail. Especially after Merson's spew. He's still dead to me now.
Can't help thinking if we had stayed up last season wed have been ok this with some of the ****e Ive watched.,..
Wouldn't be surprised to see him in line for a top job in a season or two. Might need to step up from Watford to Everton or West Ham (who I don't see as bigger than Watford, but there seems to be a different perception of) before going up to a Top 6 job.
It's an ideal job for him. He's at a club with a decent squad and has been backed financially. He doesn't like to stay around too long and Watford like to rotate managers every few years. Everton is a real possibility if Koeman last to the end of the season and its an underwhelming one.
