I think that was the game where some guys in front of us in the Ninian Stand were giving Grant Holt some stick for his ample physique. He took a look at the two who should have had season tickets at Slimming World, lifted his shirt, puffed out his belly and cheeks, laughed and pointed back at them. Total laughter all round. Great moment. I love it when footballers give some humour back in the heat of the game. Fans humour is tops too. Anyone remember the home game v Coventry when one of their players threw a dippy fit and had a little jig on the touchline when he didn't get the ball. Chant, "Do the hussey, Hussey." Or the game v the Florists at Ninian when one of their centre backs made a couple of obvious cock ups, " Wilson, Wilson" He was totally confused with the home crowd chanting his name.
Believe it was West Brom away. He goaded Ben Foster(??) Into shoving him over after they'd launched a quick attack. Think he was sent off for it as well! Talk about result, ha ha ha.
It was frustrating how some of Jones’ City teams didn’t win the League but as Jones said after each bad result “You’ve got to keep the back door shut!” But it was great watching them when in song going forward.
Masky learned long ago to always keep the back door shut ...after his experience in Pontcanna.....nuff said, Masky taps nose!
Remember a game v Coventry at NP when Coleman was their manager. Ali the ex stadium announcer played And another one at NP v West Ham when he mischievously played

I miss Ali. He was in tune with the fans, unlike whoever the guy is now. Can hardly understand a word he says from our seats in the Ninian. BT and I have fired off several e-mails to Stadium Wayne only to be told it is too expensive to correct. Hope we don't get a stadium evacuation announcement. We will never hear it.
Why did they get rid of charismatic Ali...he was entertaining? He must have stood on someone’s todger or something! Aber stood on mine years ago, metaphorically speaking of course....the bloke from Aberdare did Masky no good no how! Never gonna forget!
Have to admit this was my last away league game to watch City under lights - seems like an age ago. I thought we were cruising it...... Can't pull up the vid on its' own, so view it through the PAFC site below and prepare to cringe.............. https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2020/april/argyle-archive-cardiff-2006/
