    Come what may
    Eagle´s prey
    Or Canaries flying high,
    I´m hoping here
    A Happy New Year
Will begin to open its eye

    And can we play
    Like Saturday
    Then no-one need we fear,
    And with a win
    We would begin
With the first ´double` this year

    So one and all
    Get ´On the Ball´
    Behind them as they seek,
    Three points today
    A splendid way
´Twould be to start the week. OTBC

    Hoolahan in as well!

This is going to be an attacking game with Whittaker as well. Might be a diamond midfield.

What the hell is Hughton doing putting Becchio on the bench? Thereis no chance of him getting on the pitch with Elmander and Ricky ahead of him. Waste of a space and would have been better having a different option there.

Hard to believe that if we win this we will go above Swansea. Just watched the game against MC and Swansea are so far ahead of us in terms of creativity and fluidity that it is embarrassing. Especially when you consider that the two teams were roughly equal two years ago.

It was a very good game with lots of attacking play and flair and vision. Not much chance of that happening now at Palace.

Oh, and how much did Wilfried cost? Judging by that performance, he is worth a lot of dough.

Looking at that pitch, today really is going to be Hughton's Waterloo ! Wouldn't surprise me if game is called off or abandoned, crap ground in crap part of London with a crap pitch. Doesn't appear to be any proper drainage certainly not PL standard IMO.

No excuses though, no more hard luck stories please City, just go out roll up your sleeves and win the bloody game !

Totally this - 3 strikers on the bench is pretty crazy.

Thank you. Your irony is recognised.

If we can somehow beat Palace, it will be a happy New Year because the way the other games are set up that would make us six points clear of the drop come what may. I'd settle for that.
