As a season ticket holder I wonder if I would have been as keen to go to the Mem in the weather we are at present having, but not being able to attend makes not going harder to bear

 

What a start. Win a clever corner catching Hull sleeping at the back. Won the 2nd balls from the clearance of that corner and Daly's workrate was brilliant to get the ball and a very tidy confident finish.

Tutonda been brilliant so far in defence. Winning every tackle.

I was just typing that we look comfortable at the back but we just looked really shaky and the ball was like a pinball in the box.

 

We look like we have switched off all over the pitch. Stupid mistakes giving the ball away, passes going astray and not winning 2nd balls anymore.

 

9th in the table as it stands. 1 point away from 6th with a game in hand.

 

Westbrooke should have scored. A very tame effort. Great chance to have a very good 2-0 lead against 1 of the better teams in the league.

 

Half time 1-0.

 

We pressed very well in the 1st 30 minutes. But last 15 minutes we sat off them.

We defended very well for 35 minutes but then looked shaky in the last 10.

That tells me, sitting back is inviting pressure and the defence is not liking it.

 

Best 2 chances of the game have fell to us. Our goal after a minute and Westrookes wasted chance in added time. Other than that, neither keeper has had anything to do.

 

We will need more than the single goal to beat Hull - although I said the same thing about Shrewsbury and we won 1-0!

Hopefully we’ll get at them a bit early in the 2nd and not sit back and invite pressure.

 

For loads of seasons now, I have been of the opinion that 1 goal is never enough for Rovers to win a game. We always seem to get caught eventually, and either end up drawing or even losing, when we try to hang on with a single goal lead. I know there has been the odd occassion when we have hung on like last week, but I'm sure they're few and far between! Think we definitely need to start the second half strongly and hit them with a second, before they get into their stride.

Great chance for Hull. Header way high and wide. Should have done better.

 

How on earth we haven't conceded I don't know. Its all Hull. We won't survive this if this continues. We can't keep the ball.

 

That goal was coming. Fully deserved by Hull.

 

No idea how we will score another when we are sitting back and not offering anything in attack. Just a matter of time before we go behind.
