Here's hoping Matt plays a blinder for Wycombe today at Sunderland. Will do his confidence the world of good

Bit late for all that. He had his chance and fluffed it royally over 4 matches and a handfull of cup games over the years. I still can't understand why manager after manager not only persevered with Conor Washington for so long and to make it worse started so many games at the expense of others who were consigned to substitute appearances even though they contributed far more, Polter, or were more clinical in front of goal, when played, Smyth. Smith and Sylla. That mistake will not be repeated

His career with us is over because he cannot get the demons out of his head.

It is going to take a massive drop in form by Lumley or a serious injury for him to be even given another spell between the sticks even until we find a long-term replacement.

In truth he’s probably not quite a Champ goalkeeper and Lumley is clearly the better player.

However he was thrown under the bus a bit to be in goal when we were trying that ridiculous passing it out from the back with a load of defenders who couldn’t pass the ball. I’m not surprised his confidence was shot.

Sounds like he played well today. Hope he gets a move so we can promote Dieng. Not our greatest signing but no hard feelings.

Probably the boy Dieng who isn’t really a boy any more at all. We have approximately 53 goalkeepers.

It was only a 7-day loan, wasn't it? He should be back for the Stoke game.

Don’t think he can ever come back to us. He was horrendous and keepers need confidence. Lumley has grabbed the ball by the horns and refuses to let go. Good on him.
