The thing is we dont know if it is hot air yet. Friday for transfers is the 1st test 2nd test is in 6 months when they've said they'll own everything.
To be honest I don’t doubt their intentions, I think they want to invest properly so bought just the club thinking they could get jan sorted. I reckon they underestimated how much it costs to sign decent players in the championship and the impact that would have on the wage structure. Naturally they’re hesitant to act rashly and completely rebuild the structure in three weeks, however the threat of relegation is looming. I’m just going to wait and see I guess, we’ll see if we get lucky again like we did with Gallagher.
This forum is like the snug in the Rovers Return mate. If there isn’t anything to argue about, the Regulars will find something. But we all go home friends after Last Orders.
@A Certain Slaphead regards that pm you sent me. If @jondon47 still thinks I'm wrong come tomorrow then slap a ban on our 1st apologist of the new regime.
I would have given them the benefit of the doubt IF they had retained the services of Conor Gallagher... seems they massively misread the situation with Chelsea and without a doubt we will improve with the injured players back …. but … there will be a great big Gallagher hole in the centre of midfield.
