    Good article.

You have to give Steve credit for being a battler and doing whatever he can to fight the condition. It was great to see him come on Sunday and I am sure he will have a role to play tomorrow.

Chuffed for the guy, I am especially pleased he's shut up the folks who called him McFail in the past. From day one he's done a good job for us. Many a time he was criticised for playing the holding game and slowing it down because he was unable to find a forward pass. Hasn't always been 100% convincing but always gives his all. Good on you son.

He is one of our best performers over the last few years. Doesn't give the ball away cheaply and will pass back or sideways if a forward pass isn't on. He may yet turn out to be like a new signing in the next few games. I wish him all the best in his health battles.
