These days, it is impossible to disagree with or criticise a person of colour without being labelled a racist.
We see it on here often enough.
Criticise a black, player/politician/
celebrity and you're motives are immediately questioned.
This results in all meaningful debate being closed down as cancel culture now has taken over.

 

Ok just try and be honest with yourselves here, Kate lights a candle for the sad murder, do you honestly think that if Meghan were in the U.K. and did the same, she would have got the same positive coverage? Or do you expect a different angle would have been put on it? I think we know the honest answer here.

Not now, obviously. But when she was part of the Royal Family and carrying out Royal duties she would have got credit in the same way as Kate. People are a whole lot more cynical about Meghan now - they think she's shallow, self-absorbed, scheming and manipulative.

 

Really delighted to see that the Palace are instructing outside lawyers to look into the bullying allegations against Meghan. It will be fascinating to see what has been going on behind closed doors. Her "people" are already demanding to see evidence. This could be really damaging to her.

 

I think the difference is Meghan would have not been so low-key, would have made it more about her and probably given one of her women must...type of comments. It's what she does, she can't help it...

Can we now close this thread please. The events on Clapham Common and silliness over the Astra Zeneca vaccine just confirm for me what a waste of time space and energy this all is. They've gone. Just ignore them. I find it deeply offensive that these two privileged time wasters have led a media circus over their tales of woe when there are people in the world who are dying needlessly.
