http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/foot...l-merson/ar-AAtk1rJ?li=AA572I&ocid=spartanntp The headline of this article got me thinking- has Merson lost the plot, or has he got a point? My own view is that Redknapp is vastly overrated and has won little in comparison to Wenger. He handles the press well and spends loads, but is often moved on quickly leaving a big mess behind (which was 'never his fault'). However, many feel that Wenger has been less than flexible in his tactics. So, is Merson on the spot or off the hobby-horse?
Yeah off his rocker. Redknapp a good manager but Wenger was elite. He took Arsenal to the top in the PL and near the top in Europe with his tactics, Redknapp did well but fell well short. He really needs to put that crack pipe down...
He's the worst football pundit of all time. Ok he used to be a great player but the guy is a first rate idiot.
Wasn't the criticism about Redknapp always that he was no good at tactics? Or am I remembering wrong? By the looks of him the only gear he's been on is Fray Bentos
