The only question now is can Everton **** themselves up and have no one to blame?

I went to Chelsea in 84, we spent the morning of the match with a Geordie who was living in Brixton. He took us around a few pubs, pointing out along the way the "Blacks only" boozers. White boys not allowed.

    I'd play this -

    Anderson------------Isak---------------Gordon
    -----Longstaff--------------------Miley------
    ---------------------Bruno-------------
    Burn----Botman------------Schar-------Trippier
    ----------------------Pope-------------------

I'd not be playing too much of a weakened side but I'd want the younguns to have a run out.

I'd still play Bruno and Longstaff to avoid us getting rammed in midfield, but I'd play Anderson and Miley.

I'd rest Bruno,Burn,Trippier and Pope and bring in Targett,Ashby,Miley and Dúbravka.

Trippier and Burn don't need resting, neither does Pope. I know we don't need to win this game, but at the same time it serves no purpose putting out a severely weakened team to get hammered.

The back 5 will be fine.

The only reason I recommended Bruno is essentially because without him, we'd be without Bruno, joelinton and Willock in the starting 11 potentially.

A midfield 3 of Longstaff, Miley and Anderson may end up getting slaughtered.

I want them to gain some experience, but I don't want their experience to be that of getting slaughtered.

I'd consider starting Targett, but the reality is he'll be a bench warmer next season as well potentially being 3rd in line to play at LB.

Nah, because we can still finish 3rd. I do agree with resting some players, but I don't want us to get hammered with a team of youngsters.

I know you care but not many do,funny thing is if there was a World Cup/Euro/Copa on none of the Internationals players would play so what's the difference?

It may not be a massive gain but I'd rather finish 3rd than 4th, I do believe you get £s per point and the highest we finish the more attractive we are to future players.

I do It's a rare opportunity to give them experience and game time.

I also want them to have game time, but that being said I don't want them to get hammered.

I think we should start Anderson, Miley and Gordon.

They we can bring the likes of Ashby on later and let them have a run out.

It may not be great for their confidence if they're getting slaughtered.

If we're going to play youngsters I think it's good practice to have some leaders on the pitch to guide them.
