Fortunately (for me) its dumping most of it at the coast. Not so fortunate for the coast.

Raining here now and the wind was attempting to push my car into the next lane on way home. Still not terrible here yet but picking up.

 

Only a Cat 1
If it was Cat 2 you'd be in the next lane
Cat 3 you'd be off the road
Cat 4 ****ting yourself
And Cat 5 flying

So basically it's nothing more than a gusty day in the UK, but them Americans are such drama queens

 

Yep, winds could reach 90mph. FFS yanks, stop building houses with wood and plasterboard, did you never hear the story of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf

 

Mines brick. Paid a little extra for a smaller house to get brick rather than vinyl like most houses here... Granted the frame is wood still though and the inner walls are cardboard. Not much choice there. That's just how houses are built here.

Winds picked up now we're on the edge of the worst of what's left of the storm.

Just seen a CNN clip where the reporter was out in the wind struggling to stand up with the force of it...or so it seemed, until two guys casually walk pass him

Just brings the whole of the media into perspective, if they can be over dramatic about something as simple as the weather, maybe it validates Trumps accusations about the media as a whole.

The media manipulate stories for sure, but Trump creates his own **** storm. No manufacturing needed.
