The Tigers' npower Championship home game against Millwall on Saturday 2nd April will now kick-off at 1pm on the advice of Humberside Police. Is this to give us time to get the seats refitted before it gets too dark?
Millwall fans have there tags, so got to be in for 7PM... Great to see police taking their fans into consideration.
Willl the police insist on Millwall having the full north stand, a la Leeds, in order to make it easier for them to police?
In these times of public service cuts, surely it's a good opportunity to weed out the openly incompetent ****s "running" the Policing at the KC and put someone in charge that has a clue(sic)?
Now it doesn't affect me because I come down on a Friday for games, but decisions like this should have to be confirmed 13 weeks before games. 12 weeks before games we're all able to go and book our train tickets so we get them for about ÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã10 e/w instead of being about ÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã60 return. Had I done that for travelling on the day of the game I'd need to have changed my ticket and had a fee for doing so. I know it's still cheaper, but there's nothing come to light in the last few weeks that's changed HP's mind so why couldn't they confirm it earlier?
2 April? my birthday.. when you say kick-off is at 1pm do you mean the game? Hopefully the Tigers will provide me with a nice gift.. then the following day I'm seeing Status Quo in concert..
No I think they mean the Millwall fans kick off at 1pm, seat throwing activites til 3, then the game starts. I heard they're putting a big net up in the NE corner for a big game of volleychair..
So they come up by train. You can drink alcohol on trains .Admiral of the Humber will be open as normal serving alcohol. Thanks PC plod for messing around with our Saturday...could end up having to do the shopping now.
Maybe they've done it so that they can be sure they'll be finished policing by the time it gets dark. http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/225709/Police-afraid-of-the-dark/
The coppers and stewards are useless. The cup match was a complete one off, they won't bring that many this time round.
There is but you can turn it off if you want to. There's a drop down menu at the bottom left of all the pages.
