Returning to the subject of Mo Eisa I just hope he has speed to burn and on the ball skills better than my old moaning post of Raheem Sterling.
My Swindon mates are impressed. They said he tore them apart last season and kept Cheltenham up almost on his own. A giant step up - but some have managed it; Charlie Austin, Dele Alli, Jamie Vardy.........
What I like about this lad, he scores with both feet, with his head, takes a good free kick, and scores from the spot, he seems a confident lad, he could be a cracking buy, or, a duff buy, only time will tell.
But you know what will happpen. If he’s a success LJ won’t be credited, and it would only be luck, if he’s a failure it will be all LJ’s fault. Funny that Redprint has not mentioned that we are still 6.5 million in credit this transfer window and that’s before anything if Joe Bryan goes. But I bet he mentions LJ has spent 10.5 million this window soon.
RODney. You are a sandwich short of a picnic. LJ's signings have lost millions. I have posted earlier about my hope for Eisa, I really think we may, fingers crossed, have unearthed a gem,
I'll throw a few names in the hat, Bolasie, Adomah, Abraham, Pitman and Bobby Reid, Mo Elisa will do fine under Bristol City and they all left us for a profit, except Tammy..
Perfect examples why we should buy our own , rather than use loans, as much as I loved Tammy I would have rather be using one of our own, rather than increasing the value of someone else’s. I realise mine isn’t a common view and most will think I’m nuts , but it’s my view none the less.
Look mate, it’s no fun when you agree with me on signings. Can you go back to being awkward and argumentative please.
Seems like Sky rate him highly - extracted from this feature cut and pasted below http://www.skysports.com/football/n...watch-in-the-sky-bet-championship-this-season: Mo Eisa please log in to view this image It's an incredible story - in July last year he was playing for Greenwich Borough, he moved on a one-year deal to Cheltenham and 25 goals later, he's now at Bristol City. He is playing for a manager in Lee Johnson and you reckon that Eisa is going to take to the Championship really well - just look at Bobby Reid who had scored 11 goals in his whole career before last season and then he was put up front and scored 22 in the league. We think he has joined the perfect club for his development and we are looking at a player who could easily get into double figures and maybe even more - he'll be at the forefront of a really exciting Bristol City team.
I think Weimann and Taylor will start with a view for Eisa to come on in the 2nd half, depending on injuries/how's the game's going. Djuric is a nice option to come off the bench too.
Almost nailed on he will start with Weimann and Taylor, I just was hoping he gave Mo a go against a side that would be un-prepared for him.
I’m thinking he may go the other way as Taylor took a knock , start with Mo, introduce Taylor around the hour mark , not long for all to be revealed.
