The one that I’m really looking forward to seeing tomorrow is LOVE DREAMS dropped down to selling class at Wolverhampton (5.50). Await with interest to see what price the old boy is when those bookie chappies release their odds later on.

On official ratings (after tomorrow’s perches have been taken into account) Love Dreams has 4 lbs + in hand on his opponents and he ran a really nice race on his seasonal bow, last month, when 3rd at Kempton Park. Promising with a capital 'P'. At his peak Love Dreams was rated as highly as 106 and although no longer in that league I think he will have far, far, far too much for his rivals in tomorrow’s lowly contest. Is also proven over the course as his last win was at Wolverhampton.

Win, lose or draw though the other thing to consider is whether the Blake barn will get to retain Love Dreams after the auction / claiming process (delete as appropriate). Really hope they do.

In conclusion then really think this one will oblige but keep an eye out later for how those bookie chappies wager.

    Good luck all.

I've been following this formerly german owned horse since running well over hurdles in france for David Cottin. Has run his best races there when ridden by female jockeys. So with Page Fuller booked and down to a career low mark could finally get his head in front today.

Not sure if people listen to Nick Lucks podcasts but today’s is well worth a listen for the interview with John Berry about Roy Rocket. Such a sad interview but also quite joyous in its brutality too. Clearly a horse that means massive amount to John and the sadness is so raw in the interview.

People often criticise racing, often with arguments that are hard to disagree with, but when you hear that interview you can’t say that Roy Rocket was just a part of an industry for the trainer and the yard. He was much more than that and I feel for John and co. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/amrssHSRECGuYVbv9

4th but a much improved display today and it could be worth to keep an eye on him when turned out next time.

A bit of housekeeping after Monday’s victory. It really was win-win for the Blake barn afterwards as they retained Love Dreams in the subsequent auction. Bought in for £9,500.
