1For, I know but what useless bunch of candidates.
Pulis, Phil Neville I ask you.

I think Paul Cook is the best of a poor list of candidates but nevertheless Junior has a chance with his box entry football speak.
They might be mad enough to be sucked in, they won't be the first or last.
I hope he gets it, I dread SL feeling sorry for him and concocting him a job back at AG.

Sounds to me as though he's already preping for the job, he says ~

“My heart is in coaching in the Championship or as high as I can in England," he told the Times.

“The Championship is the best league in the world: varied styles, varied budgets, varied tactics but such a big prize at the end of it.
“Expectation is ridiculous for everybody. It’s relentless as a manager.”

    Good old LJ waffle.

IMHO needs a promotion on his cv for a job like that.

I must have misunderstood you, in my world Quest EFL and Bristol Post are part of the Media World Frame.

Normally in such a "high" ranking team looking for a manager it has papers / media all pushing forward different names to grab the headlines [been very busy this week ] but only 3 names I ever saw were Pulis … Cook and Pearson … but all the leads were SW in talks with Pulis the other 2 after thoughts. I reckon it was a done deal before Monday on who they wanted?
MONK says it was unfair … he hit his target got back in the black in reality he only got back to zero! as his target was from -12!
ALSO a strange number 11 games! more likely was 10 games = 12 points or maybe even less games, say 1.5 pts a game?

Poor old Junior - Dinosaur Pulis won out.

Some fans think he did well at City, others think, with the unprecedented backing he received think the absolute opposite.
    Anyway, our opinions don't matter.
The opinions that matter belong to the clubs looking for a manager.

It's obvious Wednesday bosses preferred the Dinosaur.

Preferred a Dinasaur to a Minataur, ( As described by Roman poet Ovid, a being "part man and part bull")

They are football fans, just like Hughton if he stabilises them, makes progress and gets them closer to their goal, they won't give a crap.

Pity the positive attitude deserted the team after Christmas for 3 years.

It's more than opinion it's fact, just check out the records and last season the quality of football was dire beyond words at times, how many games without a shot on target during this run? Where is the positivity in that?.

But hey ho, you and a few others miss LJ, I am very grateful for the undoubted improvements that he made at our club, but his time was up.

Until he has that promotion on his CV I believe a job at a club like ours is not going to happen, but stranger things have happened.

Not mitigating he knew the brief before he signed on the dotted line, the same as SOD, Cotterill and now Holden, maybe there is a problem with the system, £3.5 mil on Palmer? who was responsible for that for instance?
