LFC is not a racist club, and neither are Chelsea - but clearly elements of the fans are. It's probably true of almost every club that exists.

Clubs have already set out their stances against racism, but they must prevent tribalism from making them overlook certain incidents. It's difficult to know how to punish the fans who are found guilty of racist abuse. Banning them doesn't really solve the problem itself, but it does keep it away from the stadium.

I'm not a fan of Dalglish although I do recognise his success as a player and as a manager. He needs to come out and make a definitive statement of the clubs position on racism and racist chanting so that fans in the stadium have something to refer to if it happens again.

It's the same at Chelsea, although you would probably want John Terry to do it there (as he is captain and icon to fans); although that would be slightly ironic.

As I have said before about my details on Not606 - they might be a little tongue in cheek. Other members have said much the same about their usernames. It's really not something that should be over analysed - even if in my situation it happens to be correct.
