    Taken off with hamstring problem
After 6 minuets in under 23 match today
Looks like we won’t be seeing him for a while
    Not good news

That's really bad news, I was expecting he might be an alternative to Flanagan, and cover for Wright. only seen him in pre-season highlights in which he looked useful.

I read somewhere that he'd been out for most of last season so I was half expecting him to pick something up. Shame.

    Apparently Diamond did well:

Sunderland did not give up hope though, and the lively Jack Diamond won and scored a penalty of his own on the hour mark to set up a grandstand finish.

The former Harrogate loanee almost grabbed the equaliser with 20 minutes remaining, while Curry also spurned a great opportunity when he struck the woodwork soon after.

out for 4 months - seeing a surgeon. Poor lad. Was always a risk if you look at his previous record.

    Gutted as he looked good.

Be tricky to sign someone due to salary cap nonsense. I daresay if an under 21 player becomes available I think we'd be in as after Arbenit we'd have to use Mclauglin and that isn't a prospect I fancy.

What a surprise, injury prone player gets injured. Another fantastic decision by Parkinson signing him.
