I did do, God knows what she sees in me. Speaking of songs and age, I bought a City football earlier from the club shop for my nephew, for his upcoming birthday. The guy serving asked if he should pump it up, I replied ' yes please, Elvis Costello', it went right over his head and he told me he'd never heard of him, to make it worse he said he was only 28! Not at all old man, I didn't dare mention Declan MacManus, or R Whites lemonade, to him. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
He really should be listening to the 'radio, radio' a bit more and he'd maybe know who you were referring to...Not like you to buy something with your cleptomaniac habit? Were you 'Watching the(store) detectives' Watching you?
I quite like it when the alarm goes off if I'm walking out of a shop, I carry on walking and if they ask to look at what I've bought I refuse, they're my goods bought and paid for. Sometimes the look on their faces is priceless. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I played the same clip to Mrs Two earlier this week, and not for the first time. true. She just laughed. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Perhaps best for the book club Chicken hawk, Robert Mason. A helicopter pilots story. Not the ace of the base, gung ho stuff, just an average guys story.
I'm half way through watching Web of Make Believe: Death, Lies and the Internet. The stories of people caught in a dark and twisted web of modern misinformation and digital deception. It clearly shows how quickly people can get sucked into things, how easy it is to knowingly spread misinformation (and how ridiculously gullible many people are) and how a daft argument online can end in death. It's both compelling and worrying and leaves you in no doubt that many of the noisiest people on the internet are liars, psychopaths', or simply morons.
My wife badgered me to make it available to her to watch, but the line was drawn over me watching it. She now knows where my Plex server is located on the network though and I'm starting to get random requests for dodgy TV which burns my eyes when I go into Plex.
Just a quick heads-up for those who are interested and a recommendation for those who didn't watch S01. Alice in Borderland S02 was released.
Saw the trailer for Glass Onion at the cinema a while back. Noted it as one to watch. Only showing for a week. Now on Netflix. Watched it yesterday. Really disappointed.
