I used to have Netflix, I didn't enjoy throwing money away so cancelled it.

Just get a Kodi box mate.

The Wire is the best box set of all time mate - Not my opinion, meta-critic facts.

    Get on that ****.

My little granddaughter used to love that ****. Now, at the grand old age of 5, she considers it childish!

My daughter used to love Paw Patrol, Shimmer & Shine and Lazytown.

    Then she discovered youtube!!
FFS! Now she sits there watching idiots dressed up as Elsa and Spiderman, fighting a guy in a Joker outfit.
(Though the women in it are hotties, I will admit).

My lad watches him, I've said he looks dodgy, but it falls on deaf ears. I told my baby momma, fine, but if he tries it on with my lad, I'm coming for your TV.

Costs about £7.50 a month (was £5 when I joined) got loads of films and also TV series on it. My girls watch stuff like Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl on it ... best thing about it is that you can register 4 devices on it- so my girls can stream it on iPads plus when my oldest was at Uni she could also access from her laptop.

Yep, mine is similar. Or stupid American girls singing adult songs badly.

My daughter never even got the chance to get into Iggle Piggle as my boys had moved onto Adventure Time, Clarence, The Amazing World of Gumball & Gravity Falls by then.

Spongebob was always rumbling on in the background but now the go to programme which is on series link is The Simpsons. It's on all the time. Surey that goes over their head, or should?

Anyway, as far as Netflix goes, I subscribed for about a year and never used it so cancelled in favour of Amazon Prime.

Now I never use that instead.

I don't watch TV series so it's not for me. I love gangster films and downloaded 88 episodes of the Sopranos. Think I've watched three of them. My wife bought me all the Breaking Bads (watched two) and House of Cards (still unwrapped).

I have TV series commitment issues.

    You'd enjoy it I think if you gave it a chance(7 episodes+)

I'm watching The Wire, you'd actually enjoy that too(drugs, murders, random boob shots). Goodfellas was on the box on the weekend.

There's too much decent stuff on TV at the moment for me to be getting into anything on Netflix.

Silent Witness, Unforgotten, No Offence, and Sherlock are all excellent and on series link, as is The Halcyon which looks quite good.

Scott and Bailey is returning soon, which is the best thing on TV, and when they are on The Missing, The Fall and Line of Duty are also brilliant.

I've got The Level still to watch and Paranoid.

All this is terrestrial TV, not even freeview. I don't need box sets, haven't really got time to be honest.

    Best 3 boxsets ever made

    1. The Wire
    2. Breaking Bad
    3. The Sopranos

Surprise surprise 2 of them are made by HBO.

HBO rule TV land, although AMC seem to be upping their game recently.

Game of Thrones will be up there when it's finished too.

I personally think Breaking Bad is somewhat overrated, despite the fact that I really like it.
The acting was great, but the writing was sometimes not up to snuff (and by that I mean it wasn't up to HBO standard).
Though Breaking Bad DID sometimes make me forget I was watching a network show, because of its content, which is good.
The Walking Dead has never achieved that. I am all too aware that its an AMC show whilst I am watching it, right down to the lack of swearing, nudity, realism and the grainy camera quality (Walking Dead is purposefully NOT shot in HD, apparently the Zombie make up doesn't hold up as much).

Yes GoT will be up there. It'll make the top 4 making 2 AMC and 2 HBO.

But HBO with 'The Wire' and 'The Soprano's' will take some beating....

AMC bringing 'Breaking Bad' and 'Game of Thrones' to the table...

2-2 You could argue that The Walking Dead (also AMC makes them as good as HBO). For me HBO has the better script writers.

Then you look at the total ****e that BBC and C4 come up with <doh>
