QPR SELECT AQUEDUCT AS DIGITAL DESIGN AGENCY PARTNER

R’s enter into new digital design and web agency agreement from the 2017/18 season
QPR are delighted to announce that Aqueduct Design & Advertising Ltd have been chosen to design and build the club a new digital platform from
    the summer of 2017.
Following an extensive tender process Aqueduct were identified as the perfect partner to bring our online digital presence to life.
The agency’s remit is to develop an intuitive, market leading platform aimed at engaging with supporters and simplifying their online experience.
The new platform, which will launch in the summer of 2017, will deliver single sign-on for all QPR services with deep integration of ticketing, e-commerce, CRM and hospitality services.

In addition, there will be the usual source of R’s news, features, information and videos continuing to make www.qpr.co.uk the place to be for all the latest from your club.
An extensive consultation process will shortly commence with the views of QPR supporters canvased to ensure the club addresses the needs of the wider fanbase.

The move will see QPR exit the Football League interactive network that it will have been a part of for 17-years.
David Scriven, QPR webmaster, said: “We’re very pleased to work with a well respected digital agency like Aqueduct to deliver a new online presence for Queens Park Rangers.
“Aqueduct have a proven track record in delivering high quality innovative platforms in sport, particularly football, and we believe the new site will finally enable us to deliver a first class experience that QPR fans deserve.”

Rob Oubridge, Founder of Aqueduct, added: “We're delighted and proud to be appointed digital agency of Queens Park Rangers, one of England's most innovative and forward thinking football clubs.
“We're looking forward to delivering a unique, ground-breaking digital experience for QPR which benefits everyone and reflects the club's ambition to be at the forefront of contemporary football.

“Fans can look forward to accessing beautiful, up-to-the-minute content when and where they want to consume it, while the club's commercial and marketing teams will be able to communicate club and sponsor messages with a new freedom.”
Aqueduct Design & Advertising Limited is a London-based digital agency which helps brands affected by the rapidly changing digital landscape to transform their businesses. With a deep understanding of consumer engagement and business process, Aqueduct crafts campaigns, develops services and builds platforms that optimise engagement and ROI.

Aqueduct has vast sporting experience. They count Manchester City, Sunderland, Wasps and Team GB amongst their clients. Previous work includes the Ministry of Sound, BT Sport and the RFU.

    This should please Stan.

I've seen the new website and it's a million miles better than the present antiquated one we all abhor. The new one runs seamlessly and you can personalise it to show only what you want to see. It's like having your own personal QPR web page.

No doubt this will be a lot better. But I certainly don't "abhor" the Official now. Within it''s limited framework I think it has been getting a lot better recently.

Just looked at the Wasps one. Looks good, though a bit busy. I also looked at their season ticket prices from next season and I could get one for £205, including European and cup games. It's a 30 minute drive and there is ample parking. Tempted.

This is excellent news. The current one must have been designed around the time of MS-DOS, and has frustrated the hell of me in the past.

This is good news and long overdue. I really dislike the current official web-site. From once being a regular user, visiting at least daily, I hardly ever go near the thing now. I suspect the club got themselves locked into a long-term contract and couldn't exit it when they realised how dire the platform was/is.

Fortunately, after the dubious benefit of reading your posts for some time, you not liking something is a ringing endorsement in my eyes.

The one thing that really irritates me about the current site is that you have to click on the "enter site" box, if I didn't want to enter the site I wouldn't have gone that page in the first place!
    Rant over.

That's excellent value for money. That works out at £7.88 a game without even including the cup games. Compared to Harlequins prices we're talking Bundesliga v Premier League. It's surprisingly more expensive to watch a Quins home game than it is a QPR one.
