So how long before the newest American Football Club in the world, the 'Tottenham Bottlers' secure a place in the NFL?
There's still an ongoing agreement to play games at Wembley until 2020 and our friend, Shahid Khan still wants to buy Wembley, presumably to use for NFL games. So, it's still not completely cut and dried that it'll be us, as the NFL Commissioner pointed out on Sunday. Ideally, they'd want a 70,000+ capacity. Whichever venue might be selected, there needs to be a change in the NFL collective bargaining agreement, so that owners can require players to play a season outside the US. That contract requires renewing for 2021. So, it'll be after that and l reckon Power Spurs might be pretty close with 2023. I think the success of Sunday might very well see more interest in a naming rights deal. There were only complimentary reviews of the stadium's suitability, so, now, it's a successful football and NFL venue and must be favourite in the running for the franchise, capacity not withstanding.
That’s WHL? Madness Gonna be honest here...gonna look into getting tickets for the next NFL game...impressive

I'm fine with pushing the club forward in all areas, but I don't think that Levy can do it all on his own. We need a good Director of Football to take over the transfer plans, even if the chairman still wants to have the ultimate say.
I don't see why he wouldn't and I don't really care, either way. The club needs to do what's best for the club. Levy's been thinking long-term off the pitch and now he needs to apply that to the squad. Our current first team players aren't up to it and the academy seems to be getting progressively worse, for some reason.
ok had a really fantastic day out, so to review: the stadium is great, the food and drink outlet facilities are good, the view from the seats excellent, the crowd was mostly Americans and very raucous so the atmosphere was good. what’s not great: 1) the lack of it being the home of Spurs football - from the outside you wouldn’t know it was, and in the inside the Spurs brand is hardly shown and I could have been inside the O2, 2) the rip off prices, literally all were 50% higher than the prices that are shown earlier in this thread for the football games, so if the intention is to fleece the NFL customers then people won’t come back
Saw this They apparently ran out of beer in the third quarter having sold a record amount. If they can sort that out they will break the record again on Sunday.
I guess the profit split with the NFL is responsible for the price increases. That or it's just charging what they think they can get away with. Strange choice to make the beer names generic instead of brands, though. Lager and Premium Lager? Amstel and Heineken, maybe? Odd.
yes the two lagers were Amstel and Heineken so don’t know why they were labelled on the boards without using their brand names
