That team would probably win most games - mainly cos I accidentally put 12 on the pitch <laugh>

Are people choosing players who were better at other clubs rather than here. Case in point Mbemba who wasn't very good here.

Mbemba was good here I thought, Ryan Taylor is an odd choice as he was widely criticised during his time here apart from the odd spell.

He was in the 1st team squad for 2 seasons. 1 was when we got relegated, the other in the championship.

Wijinaldum went onto win the Premier league and champions league after being relegated with us some fantastic players have been relegated before

I agree, but putting a player in the best overall team of the decade based on his form at other clubs doesn't make sense to me.

My point was that being relegated for us doesn't matter cause I think he was really good for us in the time he was here, better se of the other dross we've had at center back for sure

    There's both going on.

    1. Best 11 here

    2. Best 11 of players if they had been at their peak here, even though they didn't perform that well for us.

    3. Give yourself a slap over Mbemba. He was our best defender while he was here but badly used by the manager before he inexplicably got rid of him!!

Selective memories with mbemba. Next people will be saying that Mbabu was the best full back.

Keepers are a problem but Dubs had one stellar year so sneaks it. Must admit I found the rest pretty easy on ability, and performances. I rated Merino highly but he’s probably quite lucky cause we didn’t see loads of him. Tiote only had one season, but it was ****ing awesome. Maybe Enrique but Santon was rolls royce when fit. Lejeune had a good spell and I really like Fernandez, them, Colo or Mbemba, not much in it. Yeah HBA massively let us down fitness wise, and he actually produced very little, but his highlight reel was class and he went past people for fun.

    Dubravka

    Trippier
    Fernandez
    Colo
    Santon

    Cabaye
    Gini
    Merino

    HBA
    ASM
    Ba

Imagine how well we’d keep the ball and play proper football with that lot. No backs to the wall negative ****. So Pardew would have to be manager. Which is kind of damning in itself that he’s our top performing manager quite comfortably.

In his first season he was godawful, was far better when he came back from loan from Villa though, was one of our best players and we allowed him to slip through cos the club was in a feckin mess.

    He can't really be included.

I assume you're talking the best in the last 10 years there, if so.... Shola and Gouf above Wilson and ASM?!

ASM very good player, but his return hasn't be great. Shola was much better. Gouffran and Wilson play different positions.

Everyone loves Shola, but we're talking last 10 years, he left in 2014 and scored a whole 8 goals in his last 3 seasons.
