    I have too thought about this but I think that this requires defensive personnel of the level we just don't have at the moment.

    Why do we need a 'false no. 9' at home against a lower league team?

    Surely we should be set up more attack minded than that.

    And I don't mean that to sound disrespectful to Sheffield, it would apply to any team from a lower division. Especially when we are at home. I just don't understand the mentality.

    I know this is the carling cup but if we do not perform and get a result tonight to boost confidence both of players and fans I would be seriously worried. Watching other teams this far this season we look so out of depth and this is the perfect game to kickstart the season.

    From what I am hearing from my brother at the match we are pathetic. We hardly pushing and we just going through the motions. Absolutely no chemistry and no direction. No leaders and no quality: this season has been ****ing pathetic so far and I lay the blame fully at mclarens doorS he is a piss poor coach.

    I have no idea what mclaren has told them how to play but there seems to be no effort at all. They must be so happy playing against us. We really are a shambles.

    Nearly half time and we haven't hit the target yet. 3 shots all night. Southampton have scored 3, at MKDons.

    We are absolutely awful. Chelsea will crucify us and I see a cricket score vs Man City. We'll be down by Xmas.
